Convert Microsoft PowerPoint file to PDF
Using Microsoft PowerPoint 2007/2010
In Microsoft PowerPoint 2007/2010, Nitro PDF appears as a tab in the PowerPoint ribbon, allowing you to quickly create PDF files and change your conversions settings with just a few clicks.
To create a PDF:
- Select your desired PDF settings from the Nitro PDF tab
- Click either the Convert to PDF or Convert to PDF and Email button
To create a secure PDF:
- In the Nitro PDF tab, from the Creation panel, select the Apply Security checkbox
- Click Convert to PDF or Convert to PDF and Email
- In the Create Secure PDF window, choose your desired security options and then click Create
To create a PDF/A-1b compliant PDF:
- In the Nitro PDF tab, from the Creation panel, select the PDF/A-1b compliance checkbox
- Click Convert to PDF or Convert to PDF and Email
NOTE: Due to PDF/A compliance requirements, you cannot create a PDF/A file with security

To change your PDF conversion settings:
- Click Advanced Settings
- In the Settings, Optimization and View tabs, select the desired options
- Click OK
Using Microsoft PowerPoint 2003
The Nitro PDF add-in for Microsoft PowerPoint 2003 provides all the same functionality as the PowerPoint 2007/2010 add-in, with the only difference being that it appears as a group of toolbar and menu items in PowerPoint 2003 instead of its own ribbon.
