Customizing Menus

When you display the Customize dialog, the entire Paint Shop Pro workspace transforms into customize mode. You can click and drag almost any menu command or tool to any other menu or toolbar. You can add or delete commands from the menus on the Menu Bar. All this can be done within the Commands and Toolbars tabs of the Customize dialog.

To customize menu options:

  1. Choose View > Customize to open the Customize dialog, and then click the Menu tab.

  2. In Show Menus For drop-down list, select menus that you want to show application frames.

  3. In the Menu animations group box, choose an animation style for menu opening and closing from the drop-down list.

  4. Clear the Menu icons check box to hide the Menu Bar icons.

To select which Menu Bar is displayed:

  1. Click the Menu tab.

  2. In the Application Frame Menus group box, select an option from the Show Menus for drop down list:

  3. Default This set of commands displays when no images are open.

  4. Image This set of commands displays when images are open.

  5. Browser This set of commands displays when the Browser is the active window.

To reset a Menu Bar:

  1. Click the Menu tab.

  2. In the Application Frame Menus group box, select the menu you want to reset from the Show Menus for drop-down list.

  3. Click the Reset button.
