Pasting a Cut or Copied Selection as a New Layer

You can paste a cut or copied selection as a new layer.

To paste a cut or copied selection as a new layer:

1. Select the image into which you want to paste the selection.

2. Choose Edit > Paste > Paste As New Layer or press Ctrl + L.
