"<object>" is checked out somewhere else - you cannot rename it now.

This message has the following cause and solution:

• You are trying to rename a file that is currently checked out.

You can wait for the other user to check the file in, or get your VSS administrator to undo the user's checkout (which will overwrite his or her changes.)
