Name information for offset <number> not found in archive file.  Name will be truncated to <name>.

This message has the following cause and solution:

• For maintenance reasons, VSS crops long file names to shorter file names.  The long file name information was lost for this particular file or project, so VSS will now refer to it by its short name.

  To remedy this, rename the file or project to its original long name.
