You cannot merge a branch with itself

This warning has the following cause and solution:

• VSS can merge the changes in two files that came from a common ancestor file.  However, you cannot merge a file into itself.

  Select one of the other projects the file is branched to. To view the branches, see the File, Properties menu, Paths tab.
