Selects one or more files to perform operations on. The file pane of VSS Explorer must be active for this command to be available.
Any VSS user can use this command.
The Select command opens a dialog box into which you can type the name of a single file, multiple file names separated by semicolons (;), or the names of multiple files using wildcard characters.
Type the name of a single file or the names of multiple files. To select all files in the file list, type *.*; to select all files with the .rtf extension, type *.rtf, and so on. Use the semicolon (;) as a delimiter between file types you want included in the selection, for example "*.rtf; *.exe".
Selects the file.
Clears the selection of a file.
Confirms the selection.
Cancels the operation, closes the dialog box, and returns to VSS Explorer.
