[Now Supported on Windows NT]
The GetDefaultCommConfig function gets the default configuration for a communications device.
BOOL GetDefaultCommConfig(
LPCSTR lpszName, | |
LPCOMMCONFIG lpCC, | |
LPDWORD lpdwSize | |
); |
Parameters
lpszName
Points to a null-terminated string specifying the name of the device.
lpCC
Points to the buffer that receives the COMMCONFIG structure.
lpdwSize
Points to a 32-bit variable that specifies the size, in bytes, of the buffer pointed to by lpCC. Upon return, the variable contains the number of bytes copied if the function succeeds, or the number of bytes required if the buffer was too small.
Return Values
If the function succeeds, the return value is nonzero.
If the function fails, the return value is zero. To get extended error information, use the GetLastError function.
