getQName Method

Finds an attribute's qualified name (QName) by index. For the "xmlns" namespace, the qname value is empty.

StrVal = oIVBSAXAttributes.GetQName(nIndex)

Parameters

nIndex
The attribute's index value.

Return Values

If failed, raises a trappable error.

Syntax

HRESULT getQName(
   [in] int nIndex, 
   [out] const wchar_t ** ppwchQName, 
   [out] int * ppchQName);

Parameters

nIndex [in]
The attribute's index value.
ppwchQName [out]
The attribute's qualified name.
ppchQName [out]
The length of the qualified name string or –1 (if zero-terminated).

Return Values

S_OK
The value returned if the QName is returned successfully.
E_FAIL
The value returned if an internal error is reported.
E_INVALIDARG
The value returned if QName is not found.
