With MSXML 5.0, you can create XSLT solutions with any programming language that supports COM, such as Microsoft® JScript®, Microsoft Visual Basic® Scripting Edition (VBScript), Microsoft Visual Basic, and C++. Therefore, XSLT solutions can be desktop-based or Web-based. In fact, both the Windows® core system and Internet Explorer are released with various versions of MSXML, usually earlier versions than MXSML 5.0.
