Connecting a Single 5K Monitor - Quadro with 4 DisplayPort Connectors

These connection instructions apply to Quadro or NVS workstation solutions with four DisplayPort 1.2 connectors.

Clone/Extended Mode

You can configure with a non-5K monitor in clone or extended mode.

Connection Rules

Connect DP1 and DP2 from the 5K monitor to the two DisplayPort connectors on the master SLI GPU.
You can connect the 5K monitor to any two DisplayPort connectors on the card.

2-way SLI

Connect the 5K monitor to the master SLI GPU.

Clone/Extended Mode

To configure with a non-5K monitor in clone or extended mode, connect the second display to the master SLI GPU.

3-way SLI

4-way SLI

Connection Rules

Connect DP1 and DP2 from the 5K monitor to two DisplayPort connectors on any single Quadro/NVS card. Do not connect DP1 to one Quadro card and DP2 to another Quadro card.
You can connect the 5K monitor to any two DisplayPort connectors on the card.
