Connecting a Single 5K Monitor - GeForce 900 Series

 

These cards typically have more than two DisplayPort connectors. You can connect the 5K monitor using any two of the DisplayPort connectors as long as they are on the same GPU. Do not connect DP1 to one GPU and DP2 to a different GPU.

Single GeForce Card

 

Connect DP1 and DP2 from each 5K monitor to two DisplayPort connectors on the GeForce card.

If the GeForce card has more than two DisplayPort connectors, then you can connect the 5K monitor to any two DisplayPort connectors on the card.

You can configured the 5K monitor with a non-5K monitor in clone or extended mode.

Connect DP1 and DP2 from each 5K monitor to two DisplayPort connectors on the master SLI GPU.
