Connecting a Single 5K Monitor - Quadro K Series

 

These connection instructions apply to Quadro K series workstation solutions with 2 DisplayPort 1.2 connectors.

Single Quadro Card

Connect DP1 and DP2 from the 5K monitor to two DisplayPort connectors on the Quadro card.

Single GPU

You can configure the 5K monitor with a non-5K monitor in extended or clone mode.

Multiple Quadro Cards with SLI Enabled

Connect DP1 and DP2 from the 5K monitor to the two DisplayPort connectors on the master SLI GPU.

Clone/Extended Mode

To configure with a non-5K monitor in clone or extended mode, connect the second display to the master SLI GPU.

Multiple Quadro Cards with SLI Disabled or Not Supported

Connect DP1 and DP2 from the 5K monitor to the two DisplayPort connectors on any single Quadro card. Do not connect DP1 to one Quadro card and DP2 to another Quadro card.

Clone Mode

To configure with a non-5K monitor in clone mode, connect the second display to the same GPU as the 5K monitor.
