This section contains settings that influences processing of the downloaded files:
Check HTML files Integrity
If checked, Portable Offline Browser will check integrity of downloaded HTML, GIF and JPEG files when server doesn't report file size. If a file appears to be not complete, it will be reloaded immediately.
Explore all possible subdirectories
With this setting checked, when Portable Offline Browser finds a link to http://www.srv.com/dir1/dir2/somefile.htm, it will try to request /dir1/ and /dir2/ contents. If the server allows directory listings, Portable Offline Browser will be able to download more files.
Suppress Web site errors
There are some sites that protect certain pages against offline browsers. They mark them as non-existing or error pages, while page contents is still present on the site. Portable Offline Browser will ignore the page error status with this setting checked. You can uncheck it for sites that do not use such protection.
Load server-side image maps
Some Web pages use image maps - when different areas of a single image contain links to different pages. Some of such image maps cannot be retrieved easily and Portable Offline Browser has to ask the server about each of 5x5 pixel areas - which link is associated with that area.
Explore HTML Forms
When checked, Portable Offline Browser tries to follow links in simple HTML Forms that require no user input.
Evaluate script calculations
When checked, Portable Offline Browser tries to evaluate all JavaScript calculations to find even more links. This option is unchecked by default, because this process takes more CPU resources when parsing downloaded HTML files.
Convert RSS feeds to HTML
RSS files use XML format. This option converts them to standard HTML that can be browsed offline easier.
Explore Flash video links
Try to extract video links from most popular sites, like YouTube. And also insert special code that would play downloaded videos offline directly on the page.
Keep Adwords and analytics scripts
By default, Portable Offline Browser removes such scripts, because they are useless for offline browsing and usually cause script errors or break page layout. Enable this feature to keep these scripts working. For example, if you plan to republish the downloaded pages on another hosting.
