Job Identification
On the Advanced tab (in the Paper/Output folder).
A banner sheet is a separator page that
is printed with the job. The banner sheet has information about
the print job, including the network user name of the user who submitted the
job, and the document name.
If you do not want to print banner sheets,
you can print job identification information in the margins of your
document instead. Settings made here are in effect for all print
jobs unless overridden.
You can choose one of the selections from
the Job Identification menu:
- Disable
Job ID: Do not print any job identification information,
either on a banner sheet or in the margins of the document.
- Print ID on a Banner Sheet:
Job identification is printed on a separate banner sheet.
- Print ID in Margins - First
Page Only: Job identification is printed in the top,
left margin of the first page of the document.
- Print ID in Margins - All
Pages: Job identification is printed in the top, left
margin of all the pages of the document.
Notes:
- Banner Sheets must also be enabled on
the printer to print banner sheets.
- The ability to disable Banner Sheets
or print document identification information in page margins is
part of the Earth Smart settings.
