To assign a reflection map

  1. Click Render tab 3D Palettes Materials.
  2. In the Materials window, select a material.
  3. In the Material Editor section, select the Advanced material type.
  4. In the Maps section, select Reflection map.
  5. Select the Map Type such as Texture Map, orprocedural maps such as Checker, Marble, Noise, and so on.
  6. For Texture map, select Image. For procedural maps, click the Click for <map type> Settings button.
  7. To preview the swatch, click the Preview Map Channel Procedural Results button.
  8. Use the reflection map slider to change the settings.
