ALM-12820 Board Maintenance Link Abnormal Alarm

Description

This alarm is reported when communication between BTS3900E modules is failed.

When the alarm is generated, the BTS3900E fails to work properly.

The system automatically shuts down the PA.

Check whether ALM-12810 BTS Configuration Conflict Alarm exists on the BSC LMT.
Y => The alarm exists. Rectify the fault accoding to the handling suggestions of this alarm.

N => Go to procedure 2.
Check whether the BTS3900E module is manually reset or powered down. Check for the BTS3900E module with abnormal communication through the alarm identification information.
Y=> The BTS3900E module is manually reset or powered down. No manual handling is required. End the alarm handing.

N=> Go to procedure 3.
Check whether the optical or electrical module is broken. If it is broken, alarms such as ALM-12810 BTS Configuration Conflict Alarm are generated. Rectify the faults according to the related suggestions and check whether the alarm is cleared.
Y => The alarm is cleared. End the alarm handling.

N => The alarm is not cleared. Go to procedure 4.
Replace the BTS3900E Module, and check whether the alarm is cleared.
Y => The alarm is cleared. End the alarm handling.

N => The alarm is not cleared. Contact Huawei Customer Service Center.
