The receiving sensibility lowers, reducing the coverage area.

System Actions

None.

Possible Causes

  • Faulty receive phase-lock loops.
  • Faulty hardware of DTRU.

Procedure

  1. Check other relevant alarms.

    Check if the LMT reports ALM-4136 TRX Hardware Critical Alarmand ALM-4128 RX/TX PLL out of Lock.

    Y=> If exist, handle the alarms, Check if the alarm is cleared. The alarm is cleared. Alarm handling is completed. The alarm is not cleared. Go to Step 3.

    Y=> If not, Go to Step 2.

  2. Reset the BTS.

    Four-level reset or power-off reset the BTS on the LMT. (Power-off reset is recommended.) Then check if the alarm is cleared.

    Y=> The alarm is cleared. Alarm Handling is completed.

    N=> The alarm is not cleared. Go to Step 3.

  3. Plug out and in the main control module and the DTRU.

    Power off the BTS3012, plug out and in and secure the contacts between the modules and the backplane. Power on again and see if the alarm is cleared.

    Y=> The alarm is cleared. Alarm Handling is completed.

    N=> The alarm is not cleared. The fault may lie in hardware. Please contact Huawei Customer Service Center.
