Description

The alarm is reported when the cables of the TRX output port are not connected or connected incorrectly.

Impact on the System

The services carried on the TRX are completely disrupted when the alarm is generated.

System Actions

The power amplifier (PA) of the TRX is automatically shut down.

Possible Causes

  • The cables of the configured TRX output port are not connected properly.
  • The transmit mode is inconsistent with the connection of the cables.
  • The TRX hardware is faulty.

Procedure

  1. Check whether the transmit mode is consistent with the connection of the cables.
    1. Check whether the transmit mode is consistent with the connection of the cables.

      Y => The transmission mode is consistent with the connection of the cables. Go to procedure 2.

      N => The transmission mode is inconsistent with the connection of the cables. Go to step b.

    2. Reconnect the cables of the TRX output port.

      After reconnecting the cables, check whether the alarm is cleared.

      Y => The alarm is cleared. No further action is required.

      N => The alarm is not cleared. Go to procedure 2.

  2. Check whether the cables and the connectors are connected properly.
    1. Check whether the cables and the connectors are connected properly.

      Y => The cables and the connectors are connected properly. Go to procedure 3.

      N => The cables and the connectors are connected improperly. Go to step b.

    2. Reconnect the cables and the connectors.

      After the reconnection, check whether the alarm is cleared.

      Y => The alarm is cleared. No further action is required.

      N => The alarm is not cleared. Go to procedure 3.

  3. Reset the TRX.

    After resetting the TRX, check whether the alarm is cleared.

    Y => The alarm is cleared. No further action is required.

    N => The alarm is not cleared. Go to procedure 4.

  4. Replace the TRX.

    After replacing the TRX, check whether the alarm is cleared.

    Y => The alarm is cleared. No further action is required.

    N => The alarm is not cleared. Contact Huawei Customer Service Center.
