ALM-4804 Slave Main Control Module TDMA CLK Alarm

Description

For a cabinet group, this alarm is reported when the DTMU of the extended cabinet group does not receive the TDMA clock signal from the DTMU of the main cabinet group.

Possible Causes

  • The clock cable between the main cabinet group and the extended cabinet group is broken.
  • The DTMU hardware of the main cabinet group is faulty.

Procedure

  1. Replace the DTMU of the main cabinet group and then check whether the alarm is cleared.

    Y=> The alarm is cleared. Alarm handling is complete.

    N=> Go to Step 2.

  2. Replace the clock cable between the main cabinet group and the extended cabinet group and then check whether the alarm is cleared.

    Y=>The alarm is cleared. Alarm handling is complete.

    N=>The alarm is not cleared. Please contact Huawei Customer Service Center.
