ALM-8576 Heat-Exchanger Temperature Alarm

Description

This alarm is triggered when BTS3012A heat exchanger works abnormally or the AC/DC power supply fails. This alarm occurs only to the BTS3012A heat exchanger cabinet instead of the air-conditioner cabinet.

Impact on the System

  • If the reason for this alarm is that the heat-exchanger stops running, the temperature in the cabinet will rise gradually, thus leading to service interruption when the system starts high-temperature protection.
  • Note:
  • The heat exchanger can work normally either in DC or AC environment. Only when neither the AC power supply nor the DC power supply works properly, will the heat exchanger stop running.

System Actions

None.

Possible Causes

  • The heat exchanger in the cabinet fails.
  • There is no AC input.
  • AC power supply is out of phase.
  • There is no DC input.

Procedure

  1. Check whether there are any correlated alarms

    Check whether ALM-5988 No Mains Supply Alarm is reported on the LMT. Handle ALM-5988 No Mains Supply Alarm according to the corresponding handling suggestions. Check whether the alarm is cleared.

    Y=> The alarm handling ends.

    N=> Go to Step 2.

    Check whether ALM-8588 Voltage Regulator Alarm is reported on the LMT. Handle ALM-8588 Voltage Regulator Alarm according to the corresponding handling suggestions. Check whether the alarm is cleared.

    Y=> The alarm handling ends.

    N=> Go to Step 2.

  2. Check the power supply of the heat exchanger

    Measure with a multimeter the 220V input AC voltage and 24V DC voltage for the heat exchanger to view whether they are normal.

    Y=> The heat exchanger fails. Huawei Customer Service Center.

    Y=>The AC/DC power supply fails. Huawei Customer Service Center.
