Description

This alarm is triggered when none of TRXs and CDUs in the BTS3012 cabinet is powered on successfully.

Impact on the System

When this alarm occurs, the BTS cannot communicate with the other devices.

System Actions

None.

Possible Causes

  • Either the TRX or the CDU is faulty.
  • The TCU is faulty.
  • The TMU is faulty.
  • The contactor in the DC distribution cabinet is faulty.

Procedure

  1. View the power indicator

    View whether the PWR indicators of the TRX and the CDU are on or off.

    Y=>The PWR indicator is on. Go to Step 4.

    N=>The PWR indicator is off. Go to Step 2.

  2. Replace the TCU

    Replace the TCU and view whether the alarm is cleared.

    Y=>The alarm handling ends. The alarm may be caused by the fault of the power-on controlling circuit on the TCU.

    N=> Go to Step 3.

  3. Replace the TMU

    Replace the TMU and view whether the alarm is cleared.

    Y=>The alarm handling ends. The alarm may be caused by the fault of the power-on controlling circuit on the TMU.

    N=>Please contact Huawei Customer Service Center.The alarm may be caused by the fault of the BTS power-on/off controlling circuit.

  4. Replace the TRX and the CDU

    Replace the TRX and the CDU. View whether the alarm is cleared.

    Y=>The alarm handling ends. The alarm may be caused by the fault of the TRX or the CDU.

    N=>Please contact Huawei Customer Service Center. The alarm may be caused by the fault of the BTS DC power distribution system.
