Adding a GBSR Cabinet

This describes how to add a GBSR cabinet and configure its attributes through the LMT. In A over IP mode, the GBSR cabinet must be configured on the BSC side.

Scenario	BSC initial configuration and BSC capacity expansion
Mandatory/Optional	Optional. When the BSC is configured with the GBAM and 2048 TRXs, you need to add a GBSR cabinet.

NOTE:

The GBCR cabinet is displayed by default on the LMT. You need to configure the GBSR cabinet on the LMT.

Zero to one GBSR cabinets can be configured on the basis of the actual traffic volume and GBAM/GOMU configuration mode.

Prerequisite

Procedure

1. On the BSC6000 Local Maintenance Terminal, right-click the BSC6000 root node.
2. Choose Add BSC Cabinet from the shortcut menu. A dialog box is displayed, as shown in Figure 1.

3. Set the parameters by referring to Table 1.
4. Click Finish. The addition of the GBSR cabinet is complete.
