A configuration command that modifies the advanced call control parameters of a cell. In this command, the following parameters uniquely identify the cell:
Cell Index or Cell Name
ID | Name | Description |
---|---|---|
IDXTYPE | Index Type | Meaning:Index Type Value range:BYNAME(By Name),BYIDX(By Index) Explanation:Index Type. Default value:None |
CELLIDX | Cell Index | Meaning:Cell Index Value range:0~2047 Explanation: This parameter indicates the source cell index. The source cell index must be unique. Default value:None |
CELLNAME | Cell Name | Meaning:Cell Name Value range:1-32 characters Explanation: This parameter indicates the name of the source cell. The name of each cell under one BSC must be unique. Default value:None |
UPSENDSMDIS | Short Message Uplink Disabled | Meaning:Short Message Uplink Disabled Value range:NO(NO),YES(YES) Explanation:This parameter specifies whether to disable the sending of point-to-point short messages. In specific cells, sending point-to-point short messages on the uplink is disabled to ensure sufficient radio channels for calls. Default value:None |
DNSENDSMDIS | Short Message Downlink Disabled | Meaning:Short Message Downlink Disabled Value range:NO(NO),YES(YES) Explanation:This parameter specifies whether to disable the sending of point-to-point short messages. In specific cells, sending point-to-point short messages on the downlink is disabled to ensure sufficient radio channels for calls. Default value:None |
REASSFREQBAND | Frequency Band of Reassign | Meaning:Frequency Band of Reassign Value range:Same_Band(Same Band),Diff_Band(Different Band) Explanation:In normal assignment procedure, after receiving the assignment failure message from the MS on the SDCCH, the BSC does not report the message to the MSC immediately. Instead, the BSC re-assigns radio channels and re-originates the assignment on the Um interface. Thus the success rate of assignment can be increased. Reassigning radio channels can be performed in the carriers with the same frequency band or of different frequency bands. If this parameter is set to Same Band, the frequency band of the preferentially reassigned channel is the same as what is used before the reassignment. If the parameter is set to Different Band, the frequency band of the preferentially reassigned channel is different from what is used before the reassignment. You can set this parameter to improve the deterioration of QoS caused by the interference, carrier channel fault, or engineering fault. Default value:None |
ASSRETRYMAX | Max Assignment Retry Times | Meaning:Max Assignment Retry Times Value range:0~3 Explanation:This parameter specifies the maximum number of reassignments after the assignment on the Um interface fails. Default value:None |
PREEMPTIONPERMIT | Emergency Call Preemption Permitted | Meaning:Emergency Call Preemption Permitted Value range:OFF(OFF),ON(ON) Explanation:If this parameter is set to ON, the BSC initiates a TCHF preemption when receiving a link establishment indication. Default value:None |
EMCPRILV | Priority of Emergency Call | Meaning:Priority of Emergency Call Value range:1~15 Explanation:This parameter specifies the priority level of an emergency call. Default value:None |
