Set Ethernet Port Loopback Mode(SET ETHLOP)

Function

An OM command that sets the loop mode of an Ethernet port.

Note

An Ethernet port under a loopback test cannot carry services.

Parameters

ID Name Description
SRN Subrack No.

Meaning: This parameter specifies the number of the subrack for running the command.

Value range: 0-11

Explanation: The subrack number uniquely identifies a subrack.

Default value: None

SN Slot No.

Meaning: number of the slot for running the command

Value range: 0-27

Explanation: The subrack number and slot number uniquely identify a board.

Default value: None

PN Port No.

Meaning: Ethernet port number

Value range: 0-7

Explanation:

1. For the GFGUA/GFGUB/GFGUG, the value range is 0 to 7.

2. For the GOGUA/GOGUB, the value range is 0 to 1.

Default value: None

LOOPMODE Loop Mode

Meaning: loopback mode of the Ethernet port

Value range: No_Loop, Line_Loop, Sys_Loop

Explanation: "No_Loop" indicates that no loopback is performed, "Line_Loop" indicates line loop, and "Sys_Loop" indicates system loop.

Default value: None

LOOPTIMER Loop Timer

Meaning: loopback period

Value range: 0-65535

Explanation: This parameter specifies the loopback period on the Ethernet port. Unit: minute

Default value: None

Example

Set the loopback mode of an Ethernet port (Subrack No. = 0; Slot No. = 24; Port No. = 6; Loop Mode = Line_Loop; Loop Timer = 5):
SET ETHLOP: SRN=0, SN=24, PN=6, LOOPMODE=Line_Loop, LOOPTIMER=5;
