In the wide coverage area, the underlaid subcell provides remote coverage and the overlaid subcell bears the traffic.
In the dense multiplexing area, the underlaid subcell uses the less multiplexed TRX frequency (BCCH) and the overlaid subcell uses the dense multiplexed TRX frequency.
With scientific configuration of the parameters related to overlaid and underlaid power, the system interference can be lowered to the greatest extent.
