Select the Quick tab of the Categorized Ternary Graphs dialog to access options to specify the variables for either a 2D or 3D categorized ternary scatterplot. More advanced options (including a greater selection of graph types) are available on the Advanced tab.
Graph Type. Select either a 2D or 3D categorized ternary scatterplot to be plotted from the Graph Type list. Click the desired plot link below for a brief description of that type of graph. More graph types are available on the Advanced tab and the Appearance tab.
Variables. Click the Variables button to display the standard variable selection dialog, in which you can select the variable(s) to be plotted and the grouping variable to be categorized for the graph. Note that the selected grouping variable does not have to be a categorical variable (e.g., contain codes); you can use one of the Methods of Categorization options to categorize a continuous variable. (The grouping variable is not necessary if the categories are defined via the Multiple Subset method; see the Advanced tab.)
Intervals. This option is used to choose a method of categorization of the values for the selected grouping variable. Each of the methods is discussed in Method of Categorization. Note only three categories are available on the Quick tab: Integer mode, Unique Values mode, Categories, and Codes. More categories are available on the Advanced tab.
