Animation

Click the Animate button (provided that you have also selected the Auto Animate check box) on the Brushing 2D/3D - Interactive tab (accessible by selecting Brushing from the View menu) to display the Animation dialog. The movement of the shape defining brush (Box, Lasso, Slice X, Slice Y, Slice Z, or Cube) can be controlled by the options on the Animation dialog that is displayed when the animation begins.

OK. Click the OK button to freeze the shape defining brush at its current position on the graph.

Cancel. Click the Cancel button to stop animation with the shape defining brush returned to its initial position on the graph (i.e., the position from where it started moving in the current animation session).

Pause. Click the Pause button to pause (start or stop) animation.

Reset. Click the Reset button to start the animation over at the location on the graph where the selection brush was originally defined.

X Step. During animation, the selection brush moves in steps. Once the animation has started, you can use the X Step slider to set the increments (steps) at which the selection brush will move along the x-axis; the direction of its movement is indicated by the arrow next to this slider.

Y Step. During animation, the selection brush moves in steps. Once the animation has started, you can use the Y Step slider to set the increments (steps) at which the selection brush will move along the y-axis the direction of its movement is indicated by the arrow next to this slider.

Z Step. During animation, the selection brush moves in steps. Once the animation has started, you can use the Z Step slider to set the increments (steps) at which the selection brush will move along the z-axis the direction of its movement is indicated by the arrow next to this slider.

Waiting time (sec). Once the animation starts, the desired automatic pause between successive incremental movements of the slice can be set by adjusting the Waiting time slider.
