View - Alignment Grid

Select Alignment Grid from the View menu (or press CTRL+G) to toggle the display of the graph's alignment grid. This grid is a visible representation of the grid specified via the Snap to Grid option, and the spacing of the gridlines is dependent on the Horizontal and Vertical Spacing settings in the Snap to Grid dialog. The alignment grid aids in the placement and alignment of graphic objects (e.g., added text, embedded or linked objects, arrows, freehand drawings such as the rectangles shown below, a previously saved graph, etc.). Note that the grid is not printed when you print the graph.
