Directory information is replicated to all connected servers in a site, but installed files (such as Administrator extension DLLs) are not. Making these types of files centrally accessible lets administrators control the server application through its associated directory object from any computer on the site. An installation program can help make this possible by copying certain important files into specified directories. When the setup program copies files onto the computer, it places them in different locations.
