Positioning Vector Objects on the Canvas

You can align, distribute, and arrange vector object on the canvas. For example you can center an object on the canvas, or bring one object to the top of the canvas.

To align vector objects to the canvas:

1. On the Tools toolbar, choose the Object Selection tool .

2. Click an object to select it.

3. On the Tool Options palette, click one of the Position on Canvas buttons:

Center in Canvas , Horizontal Center in Canvas , or Vertical Center in Canvas .

Note: All these commands are also available by choosing Object > Align.

To distribute vector objects on the canvas:

1. On the Tools toolbar, choose the Object Selection tool .

2. Click an object to select it.

3. On the Tool Options palette, click one of the Position on Canvas buttons:

Space Evenly Horizontal or Space Evenly Vertical .

Note: All these commands are also available by choosing Object > Distribute.
