The Mixer palette and the History palette are new for version 9. To access them, choose View > Palettes.
In an effort to improve consistency across the application, the Material palette from version 8 is now called the Materials palette. Also, the Layer palette from previous versions of Paint Shop Pro is now called the Layers palette.
