The UII server components are used to perform configuration and session management, in addition to auditing and reporting operations.

UII uses a Microsoft Dynamics CRM managed solution as the server component. This UII managed solution contains UII custom entities, web resources, and plug-ins.

When integrating with Citrix applications, a UII Citrix Server component must be installed on the Citrix server. For more information, see Installing UII Server Components.
