Status Dialog Box: Device Tab
Use this tab to view the printer's status. It appears when you click the More Status button in the status area at the bottom of a print driver tab.
If a print job doesn't print and bi-directional communication is active, an error message displays on your computer screen. The error message explains what is wrong, such as a paper jam. The print driver can also notify you when your job is done printing. It displays a small message in the lower-right corner of your computer screen with the name of the job and the name of the printer where it was printed.
