To delete a face on a solid object

1. Click Home tabSolid Editing panelFace Editing drop-downDelete Faces.At the Command prompt, enter solidedit. Then enter f (Face) and d (Delete).
2. Select the face to delete. (It must be surrounded by faces that share the same plane.)
3. Select additional faces or press Enter to delete.
4. Press Enter to complete the command.
