To separate a 3D solid composite into individual solids

1. Click Home tabSolid Editing panelSolid Editing drop-downSeparate.At the Command prompt, enter solidedit. Then enter b (Body) and p (SeParate).
2. Select the 3D solid object.
   NoteThis operation only applies to non-intersecting objects that have been combined by union.
3. Press Enter to complete the command.
