To lock or unlock a layer by selecting an object on that layer

1. Click the Model tab.
2. Do either of the following:
   • Click Home tab Layers panel Lock.At the Command prompt, enter laylck
   • Click Home tab Layers panel Unlock.At the Command prompt, enter layulk
3. Select an object on the layer you want to lock or unlock.
