Description

This alarm is reported when the main control module closes the Carrier Module power amplification or reduces the power.

Impact on the System

All the services on the DTRU will be interrupted upon occurrence of this alarm.

System Actions

When this alarm occurs, the system shuts off the power amplifier automatically. For the DTRU of main BCCH, DTRU mutual aid is started.

Possible Causes

  • The temperature inside the cabinet exceeds the allowed highest degree.
  • The temperature alarm circuit is faulty.
  • There is VSWR alarms on the combiner and divider to which the TRX is connected.

Procedure

  1. Query the temperature inside the cabinet.

    On the LMT or local maintenance terminal, check whether the temperature inside the cabinet is higher than 52℃.

    Y=> Go to step 2;

    N=> Go to step 3;

    Note:

    It takes about two minutes for the maintenance terminal to display the actual temperature of the board.

  2. Check the combiner and divider.

    Check whether a VSWR alarm is generated on the combiner and divider. If the VSWR alarm is reported, ensure that the antenna is correctly connected, or replace the combiner and divider. Check whether the alarm is cleared.

    Y=> The alarm handing ends;

    N => Go to step 3.

  3. Check the hierarchical power supply alarm.

    Check whether the 4932 Hierarchical Power Supply Alarm is generated.

    Y=> Clear the alarm according to the handing suggestions in the 4932 Hierarchical Power Supply Alarm;

    N=> Go to step 4.

  4. Check the fan alarm.

    Check whether the 9736 Fan Fault Alarm is generated.

    Y=> Clear the alarm according to the handing suggestions in the 9736 Fan Fault Alarm;

    N=> Go to step 5.

  5. Reset the BTS.

    On the LMT or local maintenance terminal, perform the fourth level reset for the BTS. Check whether the alarm is cleared.

    Y=> The BTS has false alarm. The alarm handing ends;

    N => The BTS temperature detecting circuit might be faulty. Contact Huawei Customer Service Center.
