Initial Configuration Scenario: A over IP, External PCU

When the BSC in A over IP mode is configured with the external PCU, you need to follow the fixed procedures and employ correct methods to perform the BSC initial configuration.

Prerequisites

The BSC global data is ready. For details, see BSC Global Data (A over IP, External PCU).
The A interface data is negotiated for interconnection. For details, see A Interface Data Negotiated for Interconnection (A over IP).

Procedure

Configure the BSC (A over IP).

Configure the external PCU.

Configure the BTS.

Configure the reciprocal relations between cells.

Back up the LMT local data.

Activate the license file.
