Unblock A Interface CIC(UBL ACIC)

Function

An OM command that requests the system to unblock a specified A-interface circuit.

Note

1. Blocking or unblocking an A-interface circuit may change the circuit status and affect the services on the A-interface.

2. If the BSC is in A-over-IP mode, it does not support this command.

Parameters

ID Name Description
SRN Subrack No.

Meaning: subrack number

Value range: 0-11

Explanation:

1. This parameter specifies the number of a subrack.

2. A key field that identifies the unblocking for an A-interface CIC and indicates the subrack number of the A-interface CIC to be unblocked.

Default value: None

DPCG DPC Group No.

Meaning: DPC group number

Value range: 0-31

Description: A key field that identifies the unblocking for an A-interface CIC and indicates the DPC group number of the A-interface CIC to be unblocked.

Default value: None

OPMODE Operation Mode

Meaning: operation mode

Value range: BYCICRANGE(BY CIC RANGE), BYCICVALUE(BY CIC VALUE)

Explanation:

1. 0: searching by CIC range; 1: operating by CIC value

2. A key field that identifies the unblocking for an A-interface CIC and indicates the searching mode for the A-interface CIC to be unblocked.

Default value: None

STARTCIC Start CIC

Meaning: start CIC

Value range: 0-65535

Explanation:

1. The start CIC of the A-interface CIC range to be unblocked.

2. This parameter is mandatory if the searching is based on CIC range.

Default value: None

ENDCIC End CIC

Meaning: end CIC

Value range: 0-65535

Explanation:

1. The end CIC of the A-interface CIC range to be unblocked.

2. This parameter is mandatory if the searching is based on CIC range.

Default value: None

CIC CIC

Meaning: CIC number of the board

Value range: 0-65535

Explanation:

1. The number of the A-interface CIC to be unblocked.

2. This parameter is mandatory if the searching is based on a specified CIC number.

3. This parameter supports multiple values.

Default value: None

Example

1. Unblock an A-interface circuit (Subrack No. = 1; DPC Group No. = 2; Operation Mode = BYCICVALUE(BY CIC VALUE); CIC = 3):
UBL ACIC: SRN=1, DPCG=2, OPMODE=BYCICVALUE, CIC=3;
2. Unblock an A-interface circuit (Subrack No. = 1; DPC Group No. = 2; Operation Mode = BYCICVALUE(BY CIC VALUE); CIC = 3&4):
UBL ACIC:SRN=1,DPCG=1,OPMODE=BYCICVALUE,CIC=3&4;
3. Unblock the A-interface circuits (Subrack No. = 1; DPC Group No. = 2; Operation Mode = BYCICRANGE(BY CIC RANGE); Start CIC = 3; End CIC = 30):
UBL ACIC: SRN=1, DPCG=2, OPMODE=BYCICRANGE, STARTCIC=3, ENDCIC=30;

If no subrack or DPC is configured, MML Client prompts parameter error.
If the specified CIC is not in the DPC, MML Client prompts parameter error.
