Project / Map / Levels / Queue Tabs

The tabs switch between the Projects tree, Map, Levels and Queue Manager.

Projects

The Projects tree helps organize the Projects and perform downloads.

Read more about organizing the Projects here.

Map

The Map provides a graphical representation of the downloaded site structure, showing which Web servers were downloaded, their directories and files. Every file, directory or server may be opened using predefined Browsers or Tools. They may also be deleted manually from the disk.

To view the list of available tools, select View from the menu or right-click on a file, directory or server in the Map.

There are two Map modes:

To change Map mode, select Options | Advanced from the menu.

You can also show the Windows Explorer menu for each of the files in the Map. Right-click a file or folder in the Map with the Control key pressed.

Levels

This tab shows you the Web pages with all their links. Some links maybe not yet downloaded - they appear in gray color. To download a missing file, select it in the Levels tree and click the Download button. You can also select multiple files using Shift+click or Ctrl+click key combinations.

Queue

Queue Manager shows the list of all files to be downloaded. If you start several projects download at once, each of them will have its own queue. You can choose the desired project from the list on top of the Queue tab.

You can stop downloading any file in the Queue using right-click on a file and choosing Abort in the context menu.

You will notice that all files in the Queue have their colors. By default, Portable Offline Browser assignes different colors to file types (based on the file extension). You may also right-click any file and use the context menu - Colorize submenu to choose different kind of assigning the colors.
