This section describes UII auditing and reporting features. Audit data is written in the server in a separate worker thread. This is to increase the performance of the application so that when the audit data is captured and written to the server, the application will continue to be responsive. When you close the Integrated Agent Desktop, the application domain terminates all the worker threads first, and then it terminates the main thread. Auditing is not designed to be a real-time feature. Therefore, if the Integrated Agent Desktop fails, audit information is likely to be lost.
