Procedure for BTS3900/BTS3900A Initial Configuration

This describes the procedure for BTS3900/BTS3900A initial configuration. The procedure involves obtaining data before configuration, adding a BTS, and adding other optional features of a BTS.

  1. Before initial configuration, obtain the BTS data required for the configuration. For details, see Data to Be Negotiated and Planned for BTS3900/BTS3900A Initial Configuration.
  2. Add the BTS3900/BTS3900A on the LMT.
    NOTE:

    In the process of adding a BTS3900/BTS3900A, if Cfg RFU by Slot in the Add New Site dialog box is not configured, the procedures for configuring a BTS3900/BTS3900A and DBS3900 are the same. For details, see the configuration of the DBS3900.
